sharing time...

first off, apologies for the terrible picture quality. i may in fact have the worst relationship with a camera one could have. mine is either missing, the battery dead, no charger, or missing the storage card. these photos were taken with my blackberry, which, if you could even imagine this, does not have a flash! sadly, my portfolio suffers because of the dysfunctional relationship described above. i'm seeking professional help...

anyhow, here is a fun recent project of mine. i had done a blog post awhile back about the pillows~ zelda pillow in peacock from company c. looking for and inspiration piece before jumping into a project is a challenging and sometimes daunting task, but it really makes the execution of the total design easy as pie. 

we were growing this room up from a sort of disney princess theme. my young little client loves teal so a teal room it was. i did a darker accent wall to keep things playful, and i hand painted matching flowers over the original bows and flowers on her armoire. the pillows just add a gorgeous rich texture and color. i even had to buy myself two too...
